Who are Doppelgangers:

Laurent is a songwriter. He played on several scenes in Switzerland and France with different bands (Living Sons, Soap TV).

These fantastic concerts (as the first part of Radiohead in 1994) and the energy that LIVE experience contains gave him this pleasure and the taste to play in front of a public. So this contact with the PUBLIC became really important and made him conclusting a solo project (guitar and voice) and recording a CD (En ballade, recorded by Jacques in 2001).

Jacques is a producer. He went to Australia complete his formation in sound engineering, and then he worked in Switzerland and in Japan in different recording studios. He produced several bands of different styles (Skirt, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, ….) and worked in studio Relief in Fribourg (Switzerland) with artists like DJAimin, No one is innocent,Young gods …

In the same way, he conducts various projects with ELECTRONIC MUSIC like Fluctual or Electrobolt, which has been asked to create sound tracks.

For the moment, Doppelganger works in home studio, where Jacques and Laurent have just finished to record their first album (Ectoplasm). Now they prepare a concept to play live for this summer (first in Japan). They want their music simple and pleasant.

Doppleganger is conceived for an eclectic public, because of the arrangement, the simple and catchy melodies. They want their live concept electronics and as harmonious as possible.
